Building Upkeep

Building upkeep services for presentable, well-kept properties

The everyday work that keeps a property looking cared for — minor repairs, touch-ups, fixtures, finishes and common-area attention — carried out on a schedule so standards never slip.

First impressions of a building are formed in the lobby, the lift landing, the corridor and the car park — not the plant room. Building upkeep is the discipline of keeping those spaces clean, intact and safe every day, so tenants, residents and visitors see a property that is managed, not neglected.

City Integrated Services provides building upkeep to commercial buildings, MCST estates, industrial premises and offices across Singapore, usually alongside routine inspection and building maintenance so that what is spotted is fixed and what is fixed stays fixed.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between building upkeep and building maintenance?

Building maintenance deals with the systems and fabric of the building — M&E plant, electrical, plumbing, structural and architectural repairs. Building upkeep is the day-to-day care of common areas — minor repairs, touch-ups, fixtures and presentation. Upkeep keeps standards high between maintenance visits.

Does building upkeep include cleaning?

Upkeep focuses on the physical condition of common areas. Cleaning is delivered through our facility support and contract manpower services and is often scheduled together with upkeep so the two teams work in step.

How often are upkeep rounds carried out?

High-traffic areas are typically covered daily or several times a week; other areas weekly or monthly. The schedule is agreed with you and adjusted as the property’s needs change.
