Routine Inspection

Routine building inspection services

Scheduled, checklist-driven inspections of your property with photo records, defect logs and condition reports — the early-warning system behind every good maintenance programme.

Most expensive repairs start as small, visible signs: a damp patch, a tripping breaker, a corroded bracket, a blocked drain. Routine inspection puts trained eyes on your property at set intervals so those signs are recorded, prioritised and acted on — and so you have the evidence trail that owners, councils, insurers and auditors expect.

City Integrated Services carries out routine inspections for commercial buildings, industrial properties, MCST estates and offices across Singapore, either as a standalone service or as the front end of an integrated maintenance contract.

Frequently asked questions

How often should a commercial building be inspected?

Common areas and plant rooms are typically walked weekly or fortnightly, with a more detailed monthly inspection and a periodic condition report. Frequency depends on the age of the property, footfall and the systems installed — we recommend a schedule after the initial survey.

Is routine inspection the same as a statutory inspection?

No. Statutory inspections — such as periodic structural or façade inspections — must be carried out by qualified professionals at intervals set by law. Routine inspection is the ongoing operational check that keeps your property in good order between those events, and helps you prepare for them.

What do I receive after each inspection?

A completed checklist with photos and severity ratings, an updated defect log, and — at agreed intervals — a condition report summarising trends and recommendations.

Can you inspect only, without doing the repairs?

Yes. Some clients use us purely as an independent inspection service and give findings to their own contractors. Others prefer that we also carry out repairs under a maintenance contract, which closes the loop faster.
